         One of the famous village is UMADI it located in sangli district situated in Maharashtra state.Population of male 40285 and female is 38299 respectively and minimum1953 families residing in this village.Area about 597.67 sq.km.

         Shri Mallkarshiddha temple is famous in surrounding villages lie in umadi.All citizens are believed in Mallkarshiddha God.It is most powerful god.

            In this village so many government and private school and colleges are available.Namely M.V.High School & Junior College Umadi(Mahatma Vidya mandir) It is an a private building established in 1961 and it is managed by Pvt.Aided.It is located in rular areas.It has good class rooms and it has 20 classrooms.The school consists of 5-12 grades.
